Booking/Refund & Cancellation Policy
We reserve the right to cancel or vary any trip and will incur no liability for any such cancellation or alteration. If we cancel a trip there will be no charge to you.
We understand that sometimes you need to change your schedule; we kindly ask that you give us 48 hours’ notice of cancellation.
However, if you decide to cancel your trip with less than 24hours notice, turn up late or otherwise can't make it; please be aware that 100% of the tour fee will be charged, inclusive of Gift Voucher Bookings. Tickets will be forfeited.
Gift Vouchers
Gift vouchers purchased are valid for 12 months and can be used for any tour & time slots.
Personal Information
Personal information about users is collected only when knowingly and voluntarily submitted. It is our intention that this policy will protect your personal information from being dealt with in any way that is inconsistent with applicable privacy laws in Australia.
Use of Information
Personal information that users submit is used only for the purpose for which it is submitted or for such other secondary purposes that are related to the primary purpose, unless we disclose other uses in this Privacy Policy or at the time of collection.
Hosting & Security
South Bay Eco Adventures uses Bookeo's online booking engine which uses an advanced hosting architecture that ensures high availability and scalability even in case of natural disasters.
Bookeo adopts a policy of triple redundancy: each server has 2 identical replicas, that can take over in case of unforeseen problems.
Each replica server is hosted in a different datacenter, run by a different hosting company, located in a different city.
Each datacenter features redundant power generators, redundant network connections and restricted security access.
PCI-DSS Compliant
Bookeo's online tour booking system is PCI-DSS compliant, and assessed daily by a third-party PCI approved vendor.
PCI-DSS compliance is required for any company handling and/or storing credit card details.
By choosing a PCI-DSS compliant service like Bookeo to handle your customers' credit cards, you reduce the risk of liability to the major card networks.
As part of our PCI-DSS compliance, all our communications with businesses and customers are encrypted using SSL/TLS encryption (128 or 256 bits). This is the same level of encryption used by banks.
